A “unicorn” describes something so rare, its existence is virtually mythical!
Please join us for the ‘No unicorns allowed’ webinar, hosted by digital design and technology expert, Luke Harvey-Palmer. Learn what exactly is innovation, why do we need it and hear examples of how the industry is approaching innovation today.
We have been talking about the uber-like disruption of care, the trip advisor-like reviews available for potential customers and even robots providing care now and in the future. Did you know that innovation doesn’t always have to be this big and audacious? Innovation can be small and still have a big and positive impact on the lives of the people we care for. Innovation can change not only what we do, but how we do it.
For example, in the hotel industry, it has become increasingly important to record each customer’s personal preferences. What sports team they follow, what pillow they prefer and whether they prefer a cooked breakfast or a slice of toast only. Staff across the world can access this information readily to ensure they are providing a personal experience to each of their customers and cater to their every whim. This is innovation.
What will you learn in this webinar?
- What is innovation and how to not confuse it with an invention
- Most innovation happens in the ‘new’ and ‘better’ categories, but what do we mean by that and what is the third category?
- Why does technology alone not solve productivity and the evidence to support this?
- How do you engage your workforce in innovation and examples of re-skilling for new ways of working?
- Examples of innovation in the industry today
‘No unicorns allowed’, or in other words, this ‘no rare or mythical ideas’ webinar, will provide you with practical tips on how to think about, and do innovation in your organisation.
Please join us and our special guests for 30 minutes on Wednesday 28th March 2018 at 2 pm AEDT.
